AWA (1972 to 1974)
Ric was trained by a professional wrestler name Verne Gagne. His 1st fight was against George Gadaski on 10 December 1972 at Rice Lake. His 1st match ended in the draw after ten minutes fight.

Japan Wrestling Career Of Ric Flair(1973 to 2008, 2013)
Flair joined MACW when he left the AWA in 1974. This same year, he also toured for AJPW. He challenged the NWA United National Championship on 27 April 1978 but this match turned into losing the case. Ric defended his NWA World Heavyweight Championship in 1991 and challenged Tatsumi Fujinami for his title of WCW/New Japan Supershow.
He joined the WWF when he left WCW in 1991. Flair challenged Shinya Hashimoto on 17 July 1996 but he lost the match. Ric was lost his match to Shawn Michaels in Raw on 7 February 2005. It was a single match. He made his comeback to AJPW for the 1st time in the last 5 years on 26 January 2013.
